The scrapyards have no definite location, but needless to say their mere presence has scared many engines. Remains of old steam locomotives are lined up everywhere, mostly "recycled" locomotives used for certain scenes.
There is a smaller scrapyard on Edward's branchline where Trevor was saved from scrap and another on the Other Railway, where Oliver, Isabel, Stepney and Toad were saved from scrap.
